Clearflo® Ag-47 Antimicrobial PVC Tubing
Request Validation PackageClearflo Ag-47 is suitable for a wide variety of food contact applications and designed to protect your food or beverage product from harmful bacteria. The National Sanitation Foundation lists Clearflo 70 as well suited for food and beverage applications (NSF-51) including non-fatty aqueous, milk and alcoholic beverages (less than or equal to 15% ABV) It’s manufactured from a clear flexible Shore A74 non-phthalate PVC compound with the addition of antimicrobial protection. The antimicrobial technology is especially effective with intermittent use of fluids in warm or humid conditions and the tubing has no opportunity to dry thoroughly between uses. The antimicrobial properties protect the tubing against organisms that can cause growth-based discoloration and odors. Testing has proven that the active ingredients neutralize bacteria rapidly, and because the ingredients do not dissipate with use, they can be expected to offer protection for an extended time under normal conditions. Clearflo Ag-47 offers antibacterial performance to ISO 22196:2011 and is 100% protected with the effective additive, which is present throughout the tube and not only on the interior, offering you protection on all surfaces. This is especially important in applications where the tubing is dipped into a fluid.

Cut Pieces – When tubing comes in, for example, 100 foot coils, and you need it in 10’ sections, tubing can be cut. Request a quote.
Size – Tubing is stocked in common I.D. and O.D. sizes, but this product can be custom extruded in other sizes. Let’s talk about what you need. Minimum quantities apply.
Custom Layline – Tailor the look of your company’s product by printing your tubing with your logo, part number, size information, date code, or other data that you specify. Printed products can reinforce and enhance your company identity, create products traceability, or identify capabilities or limitations of the item, all at a cost effective price.
In-line Cutting – Tubing can be cut to a specific length at the end of the extrusion line, accomplishing two processes – your extrusion and your cutting-to-length part – saving you time and cost. It also ensures that you received a straight piece with no coil set.
Hot Bond – Thermoplastic tubing is bonded together longitudinally using a proprietary heat process, resulting in an integrated ribbon of tubing. Hot bonding saves time and money on installations by eliminating the need to route multiple lines. It provides a neat appearance, offers easy line traceability for troubleshooting, and saves space. Prototyping is easy, and both long and short runs are welcome.
Heat Form – Fabricated shapes can eliminate problems such as kinking and often make installations easier. By using heat and special tooling in a controlled environment, custom shapes can be created such as elbows, twists, coils, and other various complex forms. All of these can be additionally incorporated together.
All custom products are subject to minimum order quantities and lead times. For other custom options, please contact us.
